The Workshop

The atelier sits in Kurşunlu Han, Beyoğlu, in the heart of historical Istanbul — the quarter that has served the city's ceramic trade for four centuries. Each piece begins on the wheel, is drawn freehand under the glaze, and is fired in the traditional sequence. Nothing is transferred, nothing is decaled, nothing leaves the workshop without the double signature of its designer and its applying artist.
